On the occasion of the Fuorisalone Digital which occurred on June 17th and 18th, the SIMPLER consortium – access point of Enterprise Europe Network of Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna – organized a virtual event with the focus on fashion, textiles, accessories, jewelry, design, furniture, advanced materials and smart manufacturing. The event allowed the winners of the WORTH Second Call Project to get in touch with potential partners from the Italian regions of Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and Piedmont, who are interested in developing and enhancing the products from a commercial point of view, thanks to the consortia of the local Enterprise Europe Network. The participation of the event also offered designers the opportunity to initiate cross-border contacts, expand businesses abroad and to present, discuss and develop new project ideas.

In view of the virtual event, a special training session was proposed to B2WORTH Italian participants on the topic of Augmented reality as a strategic business tool. The event gained high participation, also on social channels such as streaming via Facebook. As a pilot, two companies were selected among participants for a free testing of the AR tool during the B2worth events.

The event was successful, with 215 participants and 530 organized transnational meetings.
